about Zachary
Zachary Feltey is a meandering student of the Way, mapping his life along trajectories of auspicious interconnectedness on a journey of and for sacred belonging. Catalyzed by crisis and profound suffering in his early twenties, he has been compelled to center his life around spirituality and healing for the last decade and a half, listening longingly and desperately for "the flute of the Godhead behind the near screen of secret woodlands," as Sri Aurobindo so poetically put it. This winding journey has led from a foundation in addiction recovery, through various meditation centers, temples, and monasteries, across pan-Asian (mis)adventures, into and out of various institutions of higher learning, in concert with various spiritual traditions and a number of psycho-spiritual modalities and contexts, from indigenous ceremonies to contemporary and emergent therapeutic innovations, though the true crux has always been a fellowship of indispensably compassionate companions. Though often feeling more lost than found in this winding spiralic pilgrimage, Zach has stumbled into becoming something of a receptacle for various streams of wisdom and compassion, which he struggingly seeks to integratively gestate and birth forth as a kaleidoscopic array of holonomic visionary potentiality, as a sacred offering to a world in peril.
